Felix
Antonio,
Very impressive!
What is the format of the images? Are these 32bit aphla-blended icons?
Will we be able to use this icon format for toolbars, etc.?
Regards,
James
James,
They are bitmaps that use an alpha channel. We plan to explain in detail how to build an alpha channel starting from any image that photoshop may support.
We are going to be able to use them everywhere: buttonbars, buttons, images, browses, reports, etc.
Learn to create an alpha channel from PhotoShop to be used from FWH 8.05:

Antonio,
Congratulations. Very nice job.
Please tell me: I´m used my own alphablend function with success with FWH but only with windows XP and Vista. FWH will work on any version of windows?
Thanks and regards,
Toninho.
Toninho,
What Windows versions do you mean ? Win98 ?
Everyone,
You can also use Axialis Icon Workshop to convert transparent icons to transparent bitmaps. There are lots of transparent icons available on the internet, some free, and some professionally designed ones that you will need to purchase. You can also design your own icons in Icon Workshop then save them as transparent bitmaps.
Icon Workshop is much cheaper the Photoshop. It is only US$49.95 for a lifetime license (free upgrades for life). www.axialis.com
Just select Draw, Save image as bitmap, then check Preserve Transparency.
Antonio has tested a sample bitmap I created with the new FWH and he says it works fine.
