Hello,

Here is the 1. Release of the Bar-Gradient-Tool for testing.
It is still something to do, like the project-management.
I want to save a test to the right button-bar.
A new test will show the difference from the test before.
The buttons will be better ( with bitmaps ).
Some samples and help will be included.
In the next FWH-release there will be a font-selection.
But just for the first tests it is ok.
Please tell me, when something doesn't work
or is still missing.

To show the result of the selected colors press < Bar-Paint >.
With a value for < Move 2. Color ( 0.10 - 1.00 ) > you can change the Gradient-effect.
As a sample : 0.50 will center the 2. color.

New functions in Version 2a

Hello,

the new version is nearly finished.
Now it is possible, to keep the result of a test
on the right side of the main-diolog after closing the test-dialog.
To make it nicer looking, the browsers will have gradients as well.
The new font-selection should work in the next FWH-version,
if Antonio adds the method for font-changing.

It is just the start.

there will be 4 or 5 tools for the different
object : bars, xbrowse, Windows / Dialog-backgrounds, Titles .....
To create just 1 Tool, it is to much.

To create nice looking gradients without preview,
is nearly impossible.

Question :
If you add Font-selection, will be the syntax :

DEFINE BUTTONBAR oBar OF oWnd SIZE 80, 80 2007 RIGHT FONT oFont

Maybe you like, to include these tools to your
FWH-releases ( sample-directory or define a new tool-directory )

Update to Version 2a

Update Download :

( Project-handling and fonts will be included
after release FWH-Version 8.08 ')

New :
The button-bar on the righthandside changes to the new selection
after closing the test-dialog.
Control-fields of the selected color.
The background of the textfield shows the color from nr. 1
because that will be the gradient-part of the text.

Hello Otto,

The final-version will have some more functions.
There is also a project-handling included,
to save / restore settings on / from disk.
If you want to use gradient-results in the moment :
copy and paste. The Gradient-results are shown in the fields
below the color-selections

Uwe, I saw the get field but wouldn't be a multiline better for cut & paste?
But best if you copy to clipboard.

Overview of Bar-Tools Version 3a

Hello,

here is a short description of the new Bar-tool Version 3a.
( Because of the new font-selection,
the download is possible, after FWH 8.08 is released. )

Many new things are possible now :

1. Position of Color 2 with SLIDER-adjustment
the min-value has to be > 0 ( i started with 0.01 )
A value 0 works, but it takes calculation-time.
2. Font defines of buttons
3. Bar-Button-size change
4. Defined Text : 1 or 2 lines for 3 buttons
5. Copy complete source to memory ( saved to 1 field )
6. Help included
7. Save / restore a project to / from disk.

It is possible now, to leave the test without changing the main-bar.
