Sr. Antonio/Sr. Patrick Mast xharbour 1.1.0 bug?
Posted: Fri Nov 21, 2008 11:59 AM
Sr. Antonio / Sr. Patrick,

Using xHarbour 1.1.0
I encounter the error:

Unrecoverable error 9201:
hb_cdxpageseekkey: wrong parent key.

I noticed that other users have had the same problem:

Searching on Google, I found this message from Mr. Patrick:

http://www.mail-archive.com/xharbour-de ... 00991.html

http://www.mail-archive.com/xharbour-de ... 00990.html

Regarding the message above, would have a version of xharbour correcting these mistakes, if so, where could it fall?

Thank you very much

It can be a xHarbour bug or the result of a corrupted index.

Have you tried to reindex and check if the error persists ?

regards, saludos

Does your application offer the option to rebuild the indexes ?

You could set it as an application option, or force to do it from time to time.

It could be index corruption because the computer has not been properly turned off, a network failure, etc.

regards, saludos

Hello,

Have you tried to download latest xHarbour form CVS and build its binaries? What C compiler are you using?
