List of FWPPC-compatible PDAs
Posted: Thu Dec 18, 2008 12:37 PM

Hi,

Does anyone have an up-to-date list of PDAs (with barcode readers) that FWPPC can be used with?

A client who is already using my PC software wants it to be migrated to a PDA (which he also needs to buy). Recommendations? Must be able to read barcodes in an electrical testing and tagging type of application.

Thanks,

Ross,

Here you have some usefull links of used devices with barcodes support:

We don't keep a complete list of all compatible devices. If they use Intel XScale processor or compatible, then they are fine.

Primary;(RAM)-Data-bus : 32 bit

Special_Features : ARM9 coprocessor,

Qualcomm MSM7201A's new capabilities include; an integrated ARM11-based application processor, high-speed HSDPA/HSUPA wireless connectivity, blazing fast WVGA video performance and stunning 2D & 3D graphics acceleration

The new MSM7201A chipset and system software solution for WCDMA (UMTS) utilizes Qualcomm’s convergence platform which is the 528 MHz ARM 11 application processor and a 256 MHz ARM 9 microprocessor on a single chipset. From rich multimedia experiences to complex data applications, the MSM7201A chipset offers the ability to meet the needs of the savviest wireless users by providing:

Right now I am using Nokia Symbian OS Phone and I am planning to buy a GSM SmartPhone so that I can use it as a GSM Phone as well as it serves my FWPPC Testing and DEMO

Hope it will support. Just want to re-confirm before buying. Anybody any hint ?
