Login-status gets lost after some loggins ?

Posted: Sun Jan 11, 2009 10:44 AM

Hello,

I noticed in the new forum, that after some connections,
I have to Login again.
There is a option : < Log me automatically each visit >
It doesn't help to activate it, after some visits ( 4 to 5 times ), I have to Login again.
It seems, the Login-status is not allways saved :?:
In the old Forum-version it didn't happend.
Maybe something wrong with my internet-connection ?

Regards
Uwe

Since 1995 ( the first release of FW 1.9 )

i work with FW.

If you have any questions about special functions, maybe i can help.

Dear Uwe,

I am using the option < Log me automatically each visit >, in the new forum as well as the old forum.

Till now I have not experienced the problem as you described. Why don't you clear your cookies and temp internet files and then give a try. Make sure that there is no simultaneous login from different PC's or SmaprtPhone's

Regards

Hello Anser,

this morning, the same happend.
I work on a single computer with only a internet-connection.

I don't know, where it comes from.
It works a few times, than I have to login again.
Maybe when there is a big download at the same time in the background ?

Regards
Uwe :-)

Uwe,

It sounds like your cookie is getting deleted, at least when your cookie does get deleted this is what happens.

I always try rebooting my computer when something wierd starts happening.
