Hi.

I'm currently using an OCX under windows xp that allows me to interface with computer's sound card. It has commands to "record", "pause", "save", "play", "rewind n seconds", "ff n seconds"...(many more). It works well under XP. I take the sound files it creates and save them as a blob field on a table where they can be played at any time. It works sort of like a "dictaphone" machine without cassettes.

But, the OCX is not compatible with Windows 7. It is becoming increasingly harder to get XP on a new computer anymore. It seems like version 7 already has an API to do this. Can anybody help with documentation or how to access this API or any OCX compatible with Windows 7 from fwh/xharbour?

Thank you,

Reinaldo.
