Hello Daniel,
I am sorry but if I press 1 or 2 after I have pressed „ALT“ to show the first navigation screen nothing happens. With “ALT” I can close the navigation screen again.
I tested on VISTA and WIN7.

no hold ALT key

Push and release ALT key -> show number
Push and release ALT key (again)-> Delete number

Push and release ALT key -> show number
Push and release a number -> go to current tabs pressed and show letter and number
push and release letter
push and release number -> execute current control action -> return original state

thank you very much for the explanation and for your work on the keyboard-navigation.
It is working as you describe with the num-keys on the keyboard above the letters but not with the number pad.
I always tried with the number pad.

I saw when the ribbonbar is stretch and there are separators on group it show a popgroup with the rbtn of the same group but I cannot see the separators

I saw when the ribbonbar is stretch it show a popgroup and I can see the shadow but the popgroup have a white point on bottom part ( I think you must use createregion or round function to erase it)
