Question about Borland Workshop and Windows 7
Posted: Thu Mar 29, 2012 09:41 AM

Hello,

I use Borland Workshop on Windows 7 32-bits.

Every time when I launch Workshop, I got the error "Cannot find CTL3DV2.DLL", allthough this file can be found in de Windows directory and in the directory of Borland Workshop itself.

Can this be solved and how?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Regards,

driessen:

Two ideas

1.- Copy the CTL3DV2.DLL file to \Windows\System32 directory and to \Windows\System (Just an idea, I don't use workshop any more)

2.- Move to PellesC IDE http://www.pellesc.de/index.php?page=download&lang=en

Armando,

Thanks a lot for your tip.

I copied the file to Windows\System (it was already in Windows\System32) and it's ok now.

I think about moving to PellesC.

Thanks.

Jack:

As I know, there is no BRW for 64 bits Windows. :(

As I said, your best option is PellesC IDE.
