Problems with antivirus
Posted: Thu Oct 10, 2013 11:24 AM

Hello,

Some virus scanners are giving a message that my application is infected by a virus.
I checked my applications with my virus scanner (Norton 360) and no virus has been found.

How can we prevent that certain virus scanners are giving this message ?

Thanks.

Regards,

You can't, I'm afraid. You have to wait for the false alarm to fix.

Michael

Just curious what would happen if you changed the .exe name if that would make any difference ?

Today I noticed that the problem is only happening with the antivirus of Avast, starting its last update.

I don't get the problem with other virusscanners like Norton 360, Kaspersky of ASG.

Thanks.
