I did some test last night.
What is the situation?
A Windows 2012 server is installed with 2 virtual servers : 1 data server and 1 terminal server. All the workstations are Windows 7 Prof. 64-bits.
My application runs on the workstations with all the data on the data server.
If SMB 2.0 or higher is enabled, everything is running very slow.
I then have disabled SMB 2.0 on the server and on the workstations.
My application is running faster but to my opinion not fast enough.
If I copy all the data to the terminal server and I let my application read and write the data from the terminal server, my application is running very well, as it should be.
What is your opinion?
