inside my new tool-release I added a option < merge alpha-channel >
usage :
1. load a normal JPG ( still have to test other possible formats )
2. select button < merge alpha-channel >
3. define a resize-factor of the image, You want to display
4. click inside the main image, to define the position of the created image to be displayed.
5. select the button < Export > to save the result
The solution will work on a window-background as well
The screenshot shows merged images with different transparent levels
