Modify the state at init

I have a Xbrowse with customer.dbf

I wish show only some columns ( for sample First , last ) as default
and not all fields
but the final user from the application can select wich column he wants showed

how I can make it ?

I load all fields and then I must load the state changed..

..how ?

Since from 1991/1992 ( fw for clipper Rel. 14.4 - Momos)
