The current menu class is making me crazy

I'm very sorry but the new menu class really is a disaster.

I never had any problems with menu until FHW 15.04.

But then it all went wrong.

First it was going wrong in one Windows version but ok in another version. Later it was fixed. Then it was not ok in a third version.

Today, a customer of mine was very mad at me because his menues where unreadable. He uses terminal services on a Windows 2003 Server.

I tried to go back to the menu class of FWH 15.04 but that just is not possible. I got other errors.

Why changing something that is running ok for years?

Sorry, but I am really pissed off.

Look what happens:

1. Windows Server 2003 : (menus on top of each other and disappearing)





2. Windows Small Business Server 2003 : (menus disappearing)

We are really sorry for these pending bugs, but with your great feedback and excellent help from Cristobal

Antonio,

I hope it will be solved asap.
I had to roll back to FWH 15.04 to please my customer. Several hours of work.

Hi Antonio,
with the last release there are problems on Windows Server 2003 too,
and the problems on the VM machines are still on.

I did some tests today. If a font is defined for the menu, the problem seems to be solved until now.

Antonio,

Just to let you know that I did my test with the original libs of FWH 15.09 build 5.

Adding a font to the menu looks ok until now.

With the libs Cristobal send me, it is not ok. The menu's are much to small.

Many thanks for your great feedback,

Cristobal is doing a great effort to fine tune it, and we are helping him testing it.

Surely in a day or two we will publish FWH 15.10

I hope the previous problem in the menu class won't be forgotten :
Code (fw): Select all Collapse
Return ChgMenuMea( pStru, nWidth * nFw, nHeight * 1.66 )
in stead of
Code (fw): Select all Collapse
Return ChgMenuMea( pStru, nWidth * nFw, nHeight * 2 )

MENU command includes the clause HEIGHT and now default takes 1.66

According to Michel and Marco great feedback it seems as FWH 15.10 is working fine thanks to superb Cristobal work fine tunning it
