do you have a version of FiveDBU where edit structure on a field is working.

I just tested it with samples\customer.dbf

I deleted a field and added a new one. A new DBF was created, to avoid damage on the original one, with the new field.

That is basically the way it works

in WDbu which is still standard for me you can change field length without deleting. This way you suggest you have to move up and down the fields too if you need the same order.
What also is missing is the statistics- function. I have still a 32 bit PC running only because I need WDbu for daily work.
Delete and recall and replace functions are missing too.
