Different look of Calendar control with manifest
Posted: Thu Aug 18, 2016 05:56 AM
I just discovered on Windows 10 a calendar control with manifest linked-in came out looking like this:

without the manifest the control looks as expected

FWH used was FWH11.08 and test prg used was samples\testcalr.prg. What can be done to fix this apart from removing the manifest altogether?

TIA

There is nothing to fix. The first is the proper Windows 10 look.

Really?!

Thanks for pointing that out Enrico. I wasn't aware of that I just know that my boss had told me to just fix it because the calendar has become ugly

Hmmm.. where can I go to show him that calendar look is a standard Win 10 look?

I don't know but that white look is the typical Windows 10 look, isn't it? And it change automatically when it run on Windows 10.

Show him a current ( Office 365 ) program running on Windows 10. You can use Outlook ...
