What was the last version of EasyPrompt? Was it 1.1.1?
Posted: Sat Jun 25, 2022 09:04 PM

Hi,

I was searching through an old XP Laptop for some legacy code, and noticed EasyPrompt there. It was from 2004, but still works like a gem on Win 10.

Does anyone know what was the last version? I have 1.1.1 2004.

Regards,

Hi Antonio,

It's an Xbase Dot Prompt. Written by Timm Sotalbers, the creator of EasyPrompt. I don't think it was released to the public domain, like Easy Report.

Harbour provides a hbrun.exe tool that I would say it does the same :-)

Of course I'm aware of the tool. But that wasn't the question. Timm's app is kind of slick, and I just wanted to know if I had the last version.

If we can get Timm's persmission, I'll send you my copy.

What the heck? I've tried several times to attach an image to this post, and can't do it. There's an img tag button, but it seems to require that the image is on the web. So I just uploaded the image to Google Drive and copied the link between the img tags, but it's not visible.

To me the simplest way to save images on the web and share them here is to use github:

Just create a github repo (all free) where you upload your images, then you copy the image raw url (right click on the image on github) and use the Img tag here. Thats how we store and share all images on these forums.

If you want to send me some files please use this great web service:
https://wormhole.app/
You send what you want and then you email me the url that is given to you. In 24 hours files are removed automatically.

many thanks
regards, saludos

Antonio,

I've been trying to send you screen prints, but I keep getting return errors.

I tried again this morning, this time with the link from that service. We'll see what happens.
