PDF EN RPREVIEW

Hola gente !

Un problemita...

Tengo el FWH 22.12

Cuando hago un listado y pulso el icono para generar PDFs me dice que lo genera, pero cuando quiero visualizarlo no me aparece nada.

Con la versión 17.09 me funcionaba perfecto.

¿ Hay algo nuevo en la versión 22.12, que tengo que agregar para que funcione el botón PDF del rpreview ?

Te enviamos la versión más reciente FWH 23.07 para que pruebes si te funciona correctamente

Aprovecho el hilo para comentar que con la nueva clase estoy generando PDF con la clase PRINT y PREVIEW y seteo para que genere los PDF con harupdf

La calidad del pdf es mucho mejor

Con el PDF obtenido tengo 2 consultas

1) Poder mantener la tipografía elegida, no me respeta exactamente la misma letra

2) El pdf generado se ve perfectamente en windows, pero si lo paso por Whatsapp no lo reconoce como un PDF válido

Agradezco cualquier comentario

hay ejemplos de como utilizar una generacion de PDF? para usar directamente las funciones nativas de FW?

I have tried many samples at my end.
I also keep generating pdfs in my own personal applications.
I have not so far found any problems.
I did a lot of tests with FWH2212 also and all seem to be ok.
Anyway, if you can throw some more light on the problems you are facing, we are always here to support you.

May we know which font types are you facing these issues?

I am sending pdfs generated using HaruPdf over WhatsApp without any issues.
If you let me know your WhatsApp number to my email "nageswaragunupudi" [at] gmail [dot] com. we will try to exchange a few pdfs and try to figure out the issues and then sees solutions for the same.

I request you to build and run

fwh\samples\pdfharu1.prg

This is a complex pdf.

You will see options for generating PDFs using (1) Harupdf, (2) MSWord pdf (3) Image2pdf (3rd party library-once very famous) or (4) FWH internal library

Also you have choice to

(1) First show preview and save as pdf using pdf button

OR

(2) Directly save as pdf without showing preview.

Please check all the options and compare the generated pdfs.

Also you will notice the capabilities of harupdf, where you can click on the photo to go to a website

You will interestingly notice some capabilities and limitations of these different approaches. It is important for you to know them.

You can also notice any difference in the fonts. Kindly report to us.
