Hello friends,
over the past weeks I tried to make Cloudflare Tunnels and Zero Trust (MFA, protected endpoints, etc.) a topic here. The technology itself is quite simple β and with real exchange it becomes even easier. And especially in security, more eyes and shared experience always help.
I donβt want to become annoying with a topic that may not be relevant for most people, so let me ask directly:
Is Cloudflare (Tunnel, Zero Trust, MFA) something you are using or planning to use β or is this simply not relevant for most Harbour developers?
Why I still believe it could matter even for desktop developers: Cloudflare Tunnel allows you to replace TeamViewer and similar remote-support tools, because secure RDP via Zero Trust behaves almost like a local session. For us this made daily work significantly smoother.
Before I continue documenting our experience, Iβd like to understand whether there is real interest in the group. Even a short yes/no is enough.
From my side, Iβll put this topic on ice here in the forum for now. If anyone wants to break it out of the ice later, feel free.
Thanks, Otto
