Antonio,

As you know, I did try Five Mac in depth, but I ran into database limitations that simply could not be resolved. At the time, we both agreed that the Mac environment would simply not support all of the Windows OS capabilities.

It might work for some small tasks, but the bottom line was it could not handle the full data needs of a business app. I think at that point, development of FiveMac pretty much stopped ...

You can correct me if I missed something.

Dear Tim,

FiveMac development has continued, not as fast as FWH as there are few users so there is very little feedback.

In example, René from Plantenkenis (here in the forums) has developed a wonder FiveMac app and he is very happy with it

Anyhow, I agree, you need a little learning curve as the GUIs are not exactly the same.

regards, saludos

Antonio,

The issue we had was not GUI ... it was related to access with DBF's ... and commands that were not supported. It has been awhile and I'm not sure I have any notes on it, but we discussed issues at the time when I was working with it and you essentially indicated MAC OS ( and iOS ) simply couldn't support those capabilities.

Perhaps ... but I have very few still using that and I would not incorporate it into any new development.

I might consider revisiting it ...
