last classes for fivewin

Posted: Mon May 25, 2026 09:55 AM

These are some of my latest contributions to the FiveWin community: TNavigator, TGroupEx, TRating and TBtnClr.
Iโ€™ve been working on improving both usability and visual design, trying to bring more modern and flexible controls into Harbour/FiveWin development.

Just out of curiosity โ€” and maybe as a little motivation to keep creating new ones โ€”
how many of you are already using these classes in your projects?

hi Silvio, good job but... where can we download your new classes to play with them? Did you share the source code? Can these classes be used from source code or do they work with resources only?

The classes have been sent to Antonio Linares, and he will manage any distribution or integration. In the past, I've had some of my classes taken and then resubmitted by others as if they had been created by them. One example was the "TLed" class. There was also another incident with a well-known person in the Italian community: he initially offered to help me modify a class for hotel booking, but I later received an email telling me that the class had been registered as his property and that I would no longer be able to use it. I won't name names to be fair, but honestly, I'm tired of this behavior and this bullying. For this reason, when I create a new class, I prefer to hand it over directly to Antonio Linares, so that management remains clear and transparent for everyone.
