How are you working with AI these days?

Posted: Sun Jun 07, 2026 06:43 AM

Hello friends,

I still use a workflow where I develop with agentic systems on one PC, let the AI modify code there, and then transfer the changed functions/files to my development machine. After that, I compare the files in VS Code and manually review and approve every change before merging it into my codebase.

Is this still considered a sensible and up-to-date workflow, or have most people moved to something more efficient while maintaining code quality and security?

Best regards, Otto

Claude Code (with DeepSeek also), Codex and Antigravity 2.0 CLI

I no longer use vscode neither any IDE...

All coding is done by Agentic AI:

I ended coding. I just supervise and manage

What about code quality and security?

Even if AI writes most of the code, I still prefer to review all important changes to my business application before they enter the main codebase.

How do you handle this when working mainly with Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity, etc.?

Do you rely on tests, static analysis, security scanners, AI code review, or manual review?

Ai agents take care of that, much better than we do

stress and unitary tests, objective and concrete valorations :!:

I supervise the review that AI does based on my instructions

It has been months since I don't code at all, but curiously, my productivity has boosted like never before

The bottleneck is no longer coding, but sales.

That's exactly our experience too. Productivity has increased dramatically.

The real challenge now is no longer software development. It's getting the horsepower onto the road, as we say here.

We can build solutions faster than ever, but reaching potential customers seems to become harder every year.

How are you approaching sales and customer acquisition in this new AI era? What channels are still working well for you?

Precisely this morning I talked about it with Grok.

Its advise is Linkedln first (private messages). My idea is to use social networks.

You never know where a potential customer may arise. Show what you can do, then wait for feedback.

I'm not convinced that owner-managed businesses actively search for business software on LinkedIn.

At least in my market, most business owners seem to spend their time running their companies rather than browsing social networks.

For custom software projects, LinkedIn may work differently. But for standard business software, I suspect recommendations, existing contacts, Google searches and industry-specific channels are still much more important.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I'd be interested to hear about real-world experiences.
