Hello Enrico,

I saw the thread about your ff.exe.
Do you think you could contribute this functionality to the snipkeeper-project.
It would be very comfortable to search the prg-files for some string and then to display the
results in the xBrowser so you could easily view and edit the source.

Otto

I dont' know. It is entirely written in C. But I can give you the source code if you want.

Thank you for answer, Enrico.

Unfortunately it is not written in FIVEWIN. I cannot make anything with C.
Possibly someone has this functionality in FWH.
Thanks again
Otto

PS:Where does ff.exe write the results. Do you think we could get access to this from FW.

It doesn't write the results anywhere. It just add them to a listbox.

Would it be much work for you to write the results to a TXT-file?

Presumably not, but I wouldn't slow down the search with a disk write.
