OpenADS

A free, open-source, ADS-compatible engine and web Studio.

One API, many backends. OpenADS presents as ADS — your app keeps using the same ACE entry points — but the same API can be backed by DBF/ADT (the default), SQLite, PostgreSQL, MariaDB/MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or ODBC. So you run on DBF today and switch to a server-class database tomorrow if you outgrow flat files — without rewriting your business logic. It’s a scalable suite, not a single file format: keep your legacy code, change the engine under it on your own schedule. See OpenADS Plus.
